On Thursday, April 24, our annual English Performance Day took place – and what a day it was!
Ten creative students from grade 8 took part in the competition, with a student jury made up of selected students from grades 9 and 10. Everyone read two passages from The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry – one they had prepared before, and one surprise text they had to read right on the spot.
After a quick breakfast break, round two got underway. Then it was off to the auditorium, where all the participants had the chance to perform on stage. There were powerful poetry slams, original songs, self-written stories, and fun role plays – all in English!
And now… drumroll please – here are our winners:
1st Place: Minh N. (8c)
2nd Place: Elin E. (8e)
3rd Place: Lanis S. (8a)
A big congratulations to all the performers – your creativity and courage were amazing!
